Rest assured, after troubleshooting, we will provide you with a detailed repair quote and the estimated completion time. We will proceed with the repairs only after receiving your approval.

As a computer repair service at Computer Barn (CB), in good faith, we aim to provide honest, experienced, cautious and affordable troubleshooting and repair service for your electronic devices and accessories. Although generally rare, you must understand that due to the intricate nature of electronic equipment, the circuitry and components inside, its complexity, age, use and condition, there are inherent risks of additional faults arising or discovered, equipment failure, non-deliberate component damage or cosmetic defects during computer troubleshooting and repair tasks. Also, you must understand that in some cases, troubleshooting and repair may take longer than expected or the quoted time frame due to unavoidable circumstances.

You understand that any time a computer or a data storage device is accessed, there is a risk of damage, including, but not limited to, permanent loss of data or programs and total loss of function of the computer or data storage device. Data may get damaged or deleted during troubleshooting, repair, upgrade or testing because of unexpected hardware failure, malicious virus, spyware or malware activity, or any other unforeseen cause. You will not hold CB liable for the lost data due to hardware failure, virus, spyware, operating system corruption or any other situation. You are responsible for backing up your data. You can request CB backup, recovery, or retrieval of your data at the stated price; however, we do not promise any data backup, recovery, or retrieval.

We strive to provide cautious and worthwhile computer troubleshooting and repair services and exercise due attention and precaution to prevent any occurrence of any additional faults or escalation of faults to connected parts or non-deliberate damage. It is important to note that, in some rare instances, a further fault, non-deliberate damage or cosmetic defects may arise, or we may find it during the troubleshooting or repair procedures. These could be unrelated to the initial issue and may occur due to the computer systems, age, use or condition, the complexity of electronic components, or any unforeseen cause. You acknowledge not to hold CB liable for any additional costs incurred due to the arising or discovery of additional faults, non-deliberate damage or cosmetic defects that may occur during the troubleshooting or repair process. You also agree not to hold CB liable for any loss of equipment, income, liabilities or other interruptions resulting from such additional faults, damage or defects.

In most cases, we will promptly, in good faith, complete the troubleshooting and repair task within the time frame that we may have initially told you about. However, in some unavoidable circumstances or due to the nature and complexity of the task, the troubleshooting and repair may take longer than expected. You acknowledge not to hold CB liable for any costs, loss of income, inconvenience, or other liabilities incurred due to such delay.

After CB provides you with a repair quote or completes the repair of your device, you have 60 days to respond in writing via text message or email and collect your equipment. If you do not respond within this time frame, CB will consider your equipment abandoned and discarded by you. CB may sell or dispose of it in a way deemed appropriate by the CB staff to recover the cost of repairs and any related expenses incurred by CB.
