Laptop with a cracked screen and a separate replacement display

Laptop screen replacement

Check the panel before ordering the part.

The laptop model alone may not identify the correct display. Screen size, connector, resolution, touch capability, mounting and panel revision can differ.

Drop off the laptop so we can identify the exact panel and confirm a suitable replacement and quote. Parts are ordered after the required checks and agreement.

No blanket delivery or completion date is promised before the part and supplier availability are known.

Arrange a screen assessment

Common reasons to bring a laptop in.

Power, battery & charging

Failure to turn on, a battery that no longer holds charge, intermittent charging or unexpected shutdowns. Bring the charger so the power path can be checked.

Startup, software & stability

Boot errors, freezing, update problems, unwanted software and repeated crashes. Describe when the fault happens and any recent change.

Slow performance & upgrades

An SSD or memory upgrade can help a suitable machine, but not every laptop supports these changes. We consider compatibility, condition and software support.

When an upgrade makes sense

Physical faults & data concerns

Hinges, keyboards, ports and liquid damage need device-specific assessment. If liquid has entered the device, switch it off, disconnect external power if safe and do not keep trying to start or charge it.

Tell us if data access is the main concern. Recovery is not guaranteed.

Bring your laptop and charger.

Back up important files where possible and note the symptoms. Keep account passwords out of your initial enquiry.
